Practices: Determined by the head coach (location and schedule).
Games:
- Each team is guaranteed 8 games (may be more scheduled).
- Games may be played on any day except Sunday.
- The goal is primarily Saturday games, with as few doubleheaders as possible. The amount of doubleheaders will vary based off the number of teams in a division.
- Weekday start times: 6:00 PM, 7:30 PM, or 7:45 PM
- Saturday start times: Games can start as early as 8:00 AM
- If a team plays twice in one day, we try to schedule games back to back or 1 game break in-between.
Are uniforms provided?
- BYBSA provides each player with a jersey and cap.
- BYBSA provides each team with 2 Coaches jersey's and caps.
- Teams may choose to upgrade uniforms for an additional cost. The uniform company will invoice the coach directly.
- Parents have the option to purchase matching jerseys. Coaches will be invoiced for these orders.
- Coaches are responsible for placing and managing all uniform orders.
Policy Updates and Reminders:
Rainout Policy – To accommodate rainouts, we will schedule more than 8 games, but only games that drop your total below 8 will be rescheduled.
Example: If 4 out of 12 scheduled games are rained out, no makeups will be added. If 5 are canceled, only 1 will be made up.
Depending on how many rainouts, the season could be extended till November 30, 2026.
Any cancellations that need to be made up will be in the next available week or two if fields are playable.
Concession Stand – This season teams will continue to select their own shifts.
Please note: The revenue generated by the concession stand on game days is a major source of income for BYBSA and allows us to keep the registration fees at a minimum; however, we need help to run the concession stand. For that reason, each TEAM will be responsible for providing volunteers to help with the concession stand during the season. Coaches will be provided with a list of dates and times to choose from and must ensure that at least 3 adult volunteers are present for the concession stand shift. Volunteers at other times are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
NEW: If a team is no show, the head coach WILL NOT receive their 50% registration refund at the end of the season.
